How to Upscale Your Image
Upload Your Photo
Start by clicking in the 'Edit Area' on the left to upload an image from your device. Drag and drop works too!
Choose Your Scale
Below your image, select either '2x' or '4x' to choose how much larger and more detailed you want your photo to be.
Generate & View Result
Hit the 'Generate' button. Your new, high-resolution image will appear in the 'Result Area' in the middle, ready to be downloaded.
How to Get Better Results
Start with a Good Source Image
The clearer your original photo, the more stunning the result. Our AI works best when it has good details to enhance.
Avoid Heavy Compression
Use original photos whenever possible. Heavily compressed JPEGs can have artifacts that get amplified. High-quality JPEGs or PNGs are ideal.
Choose the Right Scale
For a subtle boost, 2x is perfect. For smaller or lower-quality images that need a bigger improvement, 4x can work wonders. Experiment to see what works best for your image.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between 2x and 4x?
A 2x scale doubles the width and height, giving you 4 times the pixels. A 4x scale quadruples the width and height, resulting in 16 times the pixels. For example, a 500x500 image becomes 1000x1000 at 2x, and 2000x2000 at 4x.
What file formats can I upload?
We currently support the most popular image formats: JPEG, PNG, and WEBP.
Is there an upload file size limit?
For optimal performance, we recommend uploading images under 10MB.
Are my uploaded images saved on your servers?
Your privacy is paramount. Images are processed on the fly and are not stored on our servers. Your session is private and secure.
Will this work on extremely blurry or low-quality photos?
While our AI can work wonders, it's not magic. It can significantly improve moderately blurry or low-resolution images, but it cannot recover details that are completely lost. For best results, start with the best quality image you have.
Does 2×/4× upscaling also enlarge the final file size?
Yes, the upscaled image will be larger—typically 4× and 16× the original pixel count respectively—so the exported file size increases accordingly.
Can I upscale transparent PNG files, or will the transparency be lost?
Transparency is preserved; the alpha channel stays intact during 2× or 4× upscaling.
Is there a limit to how many images I can upscale at once?
There is no hard limit; you can queue as many images as your account credits allow.
